MyVoIP| The MyVoIP is a UDP connection test intended to help establish whether a network
connection is good enough to maintain a quality Voice-over-IP conversation. The MyVoIP test supports a range of different VoIP codec specifications such as G711and G729 in addition to user custom codec specifications. Custom codec specifications are very useful for defining a test for any non-standard applications and devices that use UDP such as video conferencing. Custom codec specifications are also useful for increasing the payload of a test for stress testing and prequalifying a connection for a VoIP/video conferencing deployment MyVoIP measures the critical metrics of Jitter and packet loss including packet loss distribution and packet discards which impact the performance and quality of VoIP and other UDP based applications.
