Whether running a remote agent or running a web page you will have to choose what tests you want to run.
You can choose from the predefined tests in MyConnection Server or from any custom tests you may have created.
When the tests you want have been chosen there are various templates available ranging from different colors on the applet to a custom logo. These would not apply to remote agents as there is no applet involved.
MyRoute supports remote agents to allow users to test from locations outside their immediate network such as a customer's location. This architecture allows the support group to test a customer's last-mile connection in Sydney to an application server in Tokyo from the support office on Los Angeles. A remote agent can be autonomous in that it will automatically do the testing that has been predefined for as long as needed (work order), or a remote agent can be interactive thus allowing remote users to request route tests from the remote agent location on demand. Remote agents also support both Interactive and Autonomous meaning that a remote agent can manage a work order of test over time but still accept on-demand requests from users.
